How to File a Complaint
If you believe you have been discriminated against in a housing transaction, you have the right to file a complaint. Complaints may be filed with:
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
Indiana Civil Rights Commission (ICRC)
Complaints must generally be filed within one year of the alleged discriminatory act. HUD will investigate the complaint and work toward resolution. You may also contact a local fair housing organization or legal aid society for assistance.
